Purpose
This policy keeps VPeaN useful, lawful, and sustainable. You remain responsible for how you use the service and must follow applicable law, third-party rights, and the rules of services you access.
Prohibited activity
Do not use VPeaN to:
- Distribute malware, operate botnets, phish, steal credentials, or compromise accounts and systems.
- Scan, probe, attack, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to networks, devices, or services.
- Send spam or high-volume unsolicited messages.
- Exploit, harass, threaten, stalk, or abuse people.
- Create, obtain, or distribute unlawful content, including child sexual abuse material.
- Infringe intellectual property rights or use the service as a piracy tool.
- Evade sanctions, court orders, or other lawful restrictions.
- Resell or share service access without written permission.
Protecting the network
Outbound TCP port 25 may be blocked. Port forwarding is not offered in the MVP. We may rate-limit or isolate traffic that threatens availability, causes provider complaints, or creates unusual operational risk, while avoiding inspection of traffic contents beyond what is necessary and lawful.
Unlimited data and fair use
Unlimited data means no fixed monthly data allowance or artificial speed tier. It does not permit activity that persistently degrades the service for others, attempts to exhaust capacity, or turns a personal plan into infrastructure for third parties.
Enforcement
We may investigate credible reports, preserve minimal evidence of actions taken, restrict affected devices, suspend an account, or terminate access. Serious or urgent harm may require action without prior notice. Where practical, you can contact support to understand or challenge a decision.
Dedicated abuse email routing is being established before public beta. For now, use the support form, choose “Something else”, and begin the subject with “Abuse report”. Include timestamps, relevant IP addresses, and enough context to investigate, but do not send unnecessary personal information.
